This page describes what the waitlist collects, why, and how to remove your record.

What the waitlist stores

When you submit the waitlist form, the following is saved:

The form does not ask for your name, company, or job title. A spam-trap field helps reject automated submissions.

What it is used for

Your address is used to send you a confirmation that you joined the list, and later a message when there is something to try or a release date to announce. That is the entire purpose.

Joining the waitlist is not a subscription to a marketing list. There is no newsletter, no drip sequence and no promotional email. Your address is not sold, rented or shared for anyone else's purposes. The hosted site uses Hetzner for hosting and Lettermint to deliver email, so these providers process the data needed to operate the waitlist. Email opening and click tracking are disabled.

When you join, the site also emails the Ergana operator a short notice with your address and the time you joined. That notice is our record of the waitlist outside the web server. It is sent through the same email provider, and it does not include your removal link.

Deleting your record

Every email you receive from the waitlist contains a secure removal link. Opening it and confirming deletes your email address and your waitlist record. You do not need an account, and you do not need to ask anyone.

Lost the email or have an invalid link? Request a replacement removal link. We send it only to an address already on the list. Requesting a link does not renew your consent or extend retention. We keep the request time and delivery records with your entry to limit repeated requests and retry failed email delivery.

Waitlist records are also deleted automatically after 365 days. Removal deletes your record here. If the operator was already sent a notice about your signup, they get a second notice when you leave, so that copy is deleted as well. Your address is kept only until that notice is delivered, and never longer than 30 days.

Cookies and analytics

To see how many people visit and which pages they read, the site uses Vemetric, a cookieless analytics service hosted in the EU. Its script is loaded from Vemetric's servers and reports the page address, the referring site, clicks on links to other sites and on the waitlist buttons, and that a waitlist signup succeeded. Like any web request, this reveals your IP address and browser details, which Vemetric uses for approximate country and device type. It does not receive your email address or anything else you type into a form.

Vemetric does not set cookies. It keeps a random visit identifier in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. The removal page is excluded, so your removal link is never reported. There are no advertising pixels or other third-party trackers, and all fonts, styles and media are served from this site itself.

One cookie is used: a security cookie that protects the waitlist form against cross-site request forgery. It does not identify you, follow you between sites or survive as a profile.

Like any web server, this site may record ordinary request information in its server logs, and it limits how often the same source can submit the form to keep it from being abused.

The interactive previews

The workspace previews on the home page run entirely in your browser on sample data. Clicking through them sends nothing anywhere, and the video is served from this site with no embedded player from elsewhere.

If you can't find your removal link

Request a removal link using your signup address, then check your inbox and spam folder. For your privacy, the page does not display whether the address is on the list. You'll need access to that inbox to confirm removal.
